David J. Pigott, Esq., is a Broomfield attorney licensed to practice before all Colorado county and district courts, the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado Supreme Court, United States District Court, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Pigott maintains a diverse portfolio including civil litigation, military law, and family law.
Mr. Pigott's background includes forming The Law Firm of Hampton & Pigott and working as an associate attorney with a general practice firm in downtown Denver. Mr. Pigott has also worked for the Adams County District Attorney, the Manhattan District Attorney, and the Colorado Attorney General.
Mr. Pigott earned his law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point.
Before he became an attorney, Mr. Pigott served over five years as an officer in the United States Army. He served two tours in Iraq during that time. His awards and decorations include two Bronze Stars, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Parachutist's Badge, the Army Air Assault Badge, and the Combat Action Badge. Mr. Pigott continues to serve his state and his country as a member of the Colorado National Guard's Judge Advocate General's office. Mr. Pigott is an avid hockey player and snowboarder. He is a member of the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, a former Trustee of Broomfield FISH, founder of The Brick Foundation, and a member of Nativity of Our Lord.
